The columns
Corridor Signal is written by five named columns, each with its own beat and its own way of opening a story. Backhaul carries the day's news, Link Budget the numbers, Dark Fibre the analysis, Landing Point the cables and the monthly Corridor Capacity Tracker, and Tuning Fork the editor's notes. The names come from the networks and routes we cover. Every column works from primary documents and links each figure to its source, so a reader can check any line.
The columns are not people. They are named columns of the newsroom, in the tradition of newspaper columns that write under a title rather than a name. Each is written by Corridor Signal's editorial system, which uses AI tools for research, drafting and checking, and every piece is published under the responsibility of the publisher, who answers for it. The editor, Linda Mile, is an avatar, not a person. No column has a face, a biography or a career. Corrections appear on the article with the date. Write to editor@corridorsignal.com.
