Gross value added in ICT services reached UZS 45.5 trillion in the nine months, against UZS 35.8 trillion in the same period of 2025 and UZS 23.7 trillion in 2024, the release shows. In current prices that is a rise of 27.1 per cent in a year and 51.1 per cent the year before, on Corridor Signal's arithmetic. The share stood at 2.3 per cent in 2024. Gross domestic product as a whole reached UZS 1,755.5 trillion and grew 8.3 per cent in real terms.

The nine-month share is below the 2.9 per cent the committee gave for the first half of 2026 in a release of 25 August, when ICT value added was UZS 30.3 trillion, as reported on 25 October. On those two releases, the third quarter added about UZS 15.2 trillion.

Computer programming, consulting and related services generated 54.0 per cent of ICT value added in the nine months, communication services 29.2 per cent, data hosting, processing and web portals 10.0 per cent, software publishing 4.2 per cent and the repair of computers and communication equipment 2.6 per cent, the release says. Applied to UZS 45.5 trillion, those shares come to about UZS 24.6 trillion for programming, UZS 13.3 trillion for communication services and UZS 4.6 trillion for hosting and data processing, on Corridor Signal's arithmetic. The committee does not split communication services between mobile, fixed and internet providers.

The release's table of services gives a broader aggregate, information and communication, at UZS 51.0 trillion against UZS 40.5 trillion, with real growth of 21.6 per cent, the fastest of the service groups it lists, ahead of trade at 17.3 per cent and transportation and storage at 16.1 per cent. The price deflator for transport, storage, information and communication together was 103.1 per cent. The release does not reconcile the UZS 51.0 trillion with the UZS 45.5 trillion of ICT services.

The shares also rest on a base the release does not state. Dividing ICT value added by the GDP totals in the same document gives about 2.6 per cent for 2026, 2.4 per cent for 2025 and 1.9 per cent for 2024, below the committee's own figures. The 2022 to 2025 GDP numbers were revised after the population and agricultural census, a footnote says.

Investment in fixed assets in information and communication reached UZS 9,272.5 billion in January to September, 1.6 per cent of the UZS 584,154.2 billion total, against 1.2 per cent a year earlier, according to the committee's investment release of 29 October. Total investment rose 20.1 per cent. Information and communication drew about as much as accommodation and food services, at UZS 9,482.4 billion, and a third of transportation and storage, at UZS 27,741.3 billion. Manufacturing took UZS 160,759.2 billion, or 27.5 per cent.

A third measure counts sales rather than value added. The committee's market services release of 28 October put communication and informatisation services at UZS 77,606.2 billion for the nine months, as reported on 31 October. The two series use different definitions, so they should not be divided into each other.
