Netaş Bilişim Teknolojileri, a wholly owned subsidiary of Netaş Telekomünikasyon, has signed two contracts worth a total of US$6,333,000 before VAT with a customer in the banking sector, Netaş said in a disclosure on 23 October.

The contracts came from two tenders, according to the disclosure to the Public Disclosure Platform: one to buy switches, routers and central control and management layer components for data centres, and one to buy network switches for the customer's branches. Netaş did not name the customer or give the delivery schedule or the split between the two contracts.

Five days later, ARD Grup said on 28 October that it had received an order from a private company for NVIDIA-based IT equipment to be used in the artificial intelligence infrastructure of a customer whose end user is in the United Kingdom. The order is worth US$662,400 including VAT, or TL 32,980,366, and ARD expects it to add to revenue and profit. Neither company named its customer. ARD's disclosure carried an English translation and says the Turkish text prevails if the two differ; Netaş published its notice in Turkish only. ARD gave the order's expected start as 27 October.

Alcatel Lucent Teletaş published its nine-month financial report on 27 October. Demand for GPU capacity in the region is covered in Corridor Signal's report on the Firebird export licence for 45,000 NVIDIA GPUs, and the cost of power for Turkish data centres in its analysis of large-user electricity charges.

The disclosures give contract values but no margins, so the effect on either company's results is not stated beyond ARD's expectation of a positive contribution.
